About Us
More than 15 years of telecommunication experience
History
LCL Telehousing is founded by LCL Belgium NV. The LCL Belgium partners are Laurens van Reijen and Armand Bogaarts, both well known for many telecom initiatives in the past 15 years.
When LCL started it was mainly active in the telex refilling market, later we became leader in the fax broadcasting market. In 1995 LCL received a Specialized Mobile Radio license and became the first independent new entrant to obtain an infrastructure license in Belgium. LCL sold part of the company to COLT in 1997 and built telecommunication and fibre infrastructure for Versatel, KPNQwest and Global Crossing. The founders of LCL founded Eurofiber, dark fiber company, in 2000 and contributed 640 km of duct network to the joint venture. In 1999 LCL opened the first independent co-location facility in Belgium.
A stable partner in turbulent market of telecommunications
LCL Belgium is privately held and doesn't have any debt. We are in the colocation market already for 3 years. More than 55% of the co-location facility is leased out. We are here today, we will be here tomorrow.
